Teaching Strategies: Getting Students to Follow Good Leaders

Contemporary teaching strategies often revolve around training students to become leaders. With scholarships aimed at leaders, classes focused on cultivating leaders as young as junior high, and admission to the National Honors Society requiring a good deal of leadership qualities, the importance of leaders has never been more important.

Today’s article outlines the qualities of good leaders, and also notes that not all of our students can be leaders. In fact, most of them will wind up being followers. We also take a look at how students can take a critical look at leaders on all levels, from peers to parents to politicians.
